Coldry
This proposal was from ECT (Environmental Clean Technologies) looked at drying brown coal at Yallourn and pellitising it for export. While it could reduce emissions overall, the fact that they were looking at export made the proposal unsupportable.

Energy Grid of the Future
This is a very basic diagrammatic way of explaining how a renewable electricity grid will work, where renewable electricity provides as much base load as possible and fossil fuels are only activated to provide for shortfalls. We prepared this to give to our local politicians and since then have sent it to many MPs – State and Federal.

Submissions to State Government
We have sent off quite a few letters to ministers and to all pollies in both Houses in the early part of the year. There have been some nice replies from, disappointingly, few of them.

Submissions to the Federal Government
Many of these submissions were in support of larger campaigns from 100% Renewable, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth and so on.

Sustainable House Visits
When people are thinking of building or renovating we often get asked about sustainability factors to do with design. What better way to explain than to show good practise to them by visiting sustainably designed homes?
